The Stocked Pot and Company Cooking School and retail store has a large variety of fresh and exciting cooking classes and shelves stocked with new and fun gadgets and tools for every kitchen. You will experience demonstration classes, hands-on classes, wine tasting and wine dinners with the notable wine makers and knowledgeable representatives. Our culinary specialist will show step-by-step instructions on how to create your favorite dishes and even show you a few new ones. Review our class calendar for the large variety of classes we offer from our Jr. Chefs classes for children 8 to 12 to our exciting adult classes. We offer classes on baking, grilling, cooking, entertaining and so much more. A Stocked Pot and Company favorite is our Back to Basics 101 Classes and our Back to Basics Advance 201 classes. These classes are for those cooks who want to hone their culinary skills. Every class member will receive recipes and a discount coupon to use in our kitchen store.

History of The Stocked Pot and Company

The Stocked Pot and Company…..started in 1970 was located at Reynolda Village, and remained open until June of 1998. Chef Donald McMillan operated the Triad’s famous cooking school from November 1985 through June 1996. Cooking skills were learned and improved and as The Winston-Salem Journal noted, The Stocked Pot taught Winston-Salem how to cook. Chef Don retained ownership of The Stocked Pot and with his son Andrew will reopen this community standard. Our new location is 381 Jonestown Road, next door to Bernardin’s Restaurant.
